Great Gatsby

This one is short and sweet, but we just had to share! Our Great Gatsby design is our last one from The Palm’s “Romance in the Vineyard” show and we were able to put some really unique touches into it.

We went with gold and black for our palette because we felt it really embodied 1920s glamour from the Great Gatsby era. The gold embroidered linen from Napa Valley Linens was an absolute must for us – and once we found the high back two-seater chair from Blue Print Studios and the black chandelier from Fantasy Sound, we just knew this whole design was on the right track!

Hartman Studios and Pleasanton Rentals helped us pull some awesome pieces for our tabletop. The plates still give off that 1920s vibe and the glassware gave it a modern spin. Unveiled Bridal came up with some great stationary that really just hit our Great Gatsby theme square on the head with their unique cut out design for the menu and font choices. Each place setting also had a fun little favor with small champagne glasses filled with chocolates!

For our final touch – and not surprisingly our favorite, the flower arrangement! We went all white with accents of gold succulents, and gold seeded eucalyptus amongst the hydrangeas, calla lilies and roses. Adding some feathers to the arrangement kept with the fun 1920s vibe and makes this rounded, textured arrangement even more interesting!

This design was so fun to work on and we loved the end result of a fun and modern spin on the Great Gatsby!
